Synchronized Spey Casting

We were up on the Skykomish River the other day, trying out an arsenal of CF Burkheimer two-handed rods as well as some Nextcast lines. There was a great turnout of casters of all levels, eager to work on their Spey casting technique.

When I first came across Spey-Style flies for steelhead I fell in love with them.  I wanted to take a look back on some of my early attempts at tying these flies.  Here are a few examples from my humble beginning:
